Where do we come from?
Located in the old town, ArtArtà is a cultural space that includes a shop selling handcrafted products made in the Balearic Islands, as well as a museum displaying figures from the Rondalles Mallorquines, created by sculptor Pere Pujol, and a courtyard where you can discover native plants featured in these stories.
ArtArtà is a family project born in our home, a Mallorcan house built in 1890 that has hosted four generations of the Sancho family. There has always been a tradition of ceramic and llatra artisans, along with a deep love for music, traditions, and Mallorcan culture.
They say that houses protect dreamers and projects made from the heart—and we believe it. Bringing ArtArtà to life and sharing the heritage of Artà and the Balearic Islands was our family’s dream. On July 22, 2012, we opened our doors for the first time, transforming our home into a space dedicated to local culture.
